Why did they waste a roster spot claiming him? He must be really bad not to crack this defensive lineup.
He must be really Mad not to crack that pathetic D lineup
Maybe ,just maybe Sully didnt want Kolyachonok and he is making revenge to Dubas by not playing him with some dumbass excuses
Sully has nothing to defend on regarding his system.2nd worst team in the league on goais allowed, most 3rd Period Leads given up.
Anything he tries to say carries no weight.

Yeah, if the guys who know the system give up almost 4 goals a game on average, then it doesn't seem like it can be any worse to try a guy who doesn't know the system.
That's how a top 2-3 coach in the league likes to finish out a period. The Penguins have given up 3 less goals than SJ, who has given up the most in the league.
How the F@#% does Sullivan keep his job. This team is not good, but that's not an excuse. There are enough good pieces here to miss the playoffs but not be a bottom 3 team.
--13 first shot goals, plus another 13-15 first goals allowed. They've been behind to start the game about 60-70% of the time.
--Odd man breaks galore
--defensive breakdowns galore

Add in all the blown 3rd Period Leads(and over the previous 2 Seasons).
This is all about Sully not being concerned about being held accountable for the accurate analysis You put up here.
I'm not sure I'd bring Jarry back up, but I think Blomqvist needs time in the AHL. It's hard to tell if he's not NHL-caliber, or if he's just shell-shocked playing behind this train wreck defense, but either way, I think it's better to get him out of here for a bit to collect himself. I wouldn't mind a look at Larsson.

I don't want to ruin his confidence. This team is a dumpster fire from the coaching on down to the players

I'm sure there is yet another **** garbage excuse for him like the sully apologists have trotted out for years and years and years... although that crowd in the fan base and media has at least gotten thinner and less vocal of late. It's not his fault, it's the refs, the goaltending, the injuries, the meteor showers, the ozone layer, etc
