It’s ridiculous that a player needs to consciously be aware of the score and how many penalties have already been called in order to know if they need to play differently in the first 5 minutes of a game compared to the last 5.

I missed the first penalty. This one was certainly borderline, but like I said, you gotta know the refs are gonna call it with the game on the line and hold back a little bit. The guy was behind his own net and absolutely no threat to score.
