How many times have we lost games like this to the “we love the loser point” Isles over the last few years?

I want to say that at least Letang understands the tanking assignment, but he is this brutal all the time.

They are indeed last in 3rd period goals allowed with 91 until tonight - 93 now. San Jose is next with 89.KG wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:12 pmLet’s watch another Sully lead team try to defend a 2 goal lead.
Priceless.
I think the Pens have given up the most 3rd period goals in the league.
Penguins allowed 66 goals in the 1st period, 8th worst in the league, and 83 in the 2nd, 5th worst.

Letang with another Offensive Zone Blue Line Turnover leads to an Isles Odd Man Rush.
He's having quite a 3rd Period.SMH.

I wonder what percentage of Letang’s shots have been directly into the guy right in front of him over his career?

Yet he keeps getting double shifted and Koly gets penalized.Zalapski33 wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:22 pmLetang with another Offensive Zone Blue Line Turnover leads to an Isles Odd Man Rush.

Ok just lose in regulation. No tying the game late to get a needless loser point.

I really don't care for Graves. Have I said that lately? He has got to go by any means.

That’s just more ammunition KD should have to move on from Sullivan. The system doesn’t work for this team for the millionth time.Victor wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:21 pmThey are indeed last in 3rd period goals allowed with 91 until tonight - 93 now. Not even mad, Sid got a point, Jarry has been good to not hurt his value to maybe trade him at the draft, guys who I want back have all been solid too.

The other 20% miss the net by 10 feet.BurghThing wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:26 pm80%+E-Ramone wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:23 pmI wonder what percentage of Letang’s shots have been directly into the guy right in front of him over his career?

I’ve never said this before but I just watch 58 give up… in his own zone. Ridiculous

I swear I thought of 80% in my head too. He should just look for a pass Everytime rather then setting up the breakout for the other team at our own blue line.BurghThing wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:26 pm80%+E-Ramone wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 9:23 pmI wonder what percentage of Letang’s shots have been directly into the guy right in front of him over his career?

EK with a terrible Pinch followed with Graves Offering zero Defensive Resistance getting back and its another cakewalk to the net leading to the 3rd Isles Goal th8s 3rd Period.Anothther Blown 2 Goal Lead by the Mike Sullivan Coached Team.
The "Top 3" Defensemen of EK,Letang and Gryz have been a complete disaster this Game.

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Isles 3/18/25
I really hope Grzelcyk doesn't return next season. He would be in the lineup every night and likely block Pickering from transitioning full time to the NHL level.
Shea, Graves, Kolyachonok are LDs already under contract for next season. Shea was just extended, Graves is unlikely to be moved, Kolyachonok was just added, so anyone else being added would just move Pickering further down Sully's depth chart.

Hayes and Rust have spent this entire game refusing to shoot the puck on the PP.
Late in the game they still figure that is going to work.

Is Kolyachonok hardly playing in the third or is it my imagination?
