After this season, 6 more episodes will air in 2011 (I guess an extension of this season ala Sopranos) and then there will be a movie.

A little OT, but why does HBO now sell their shows in half seasons on DVD instead of the full season?

Just finished the 3rd disc of season 2 of True Blood. It's getting really good. Will have to wait until Friday for the 4th disc.
WIll just need to watch the episodes of season 3 on demand and I'll finally be caught up.

I've started watching some Beavis and Butthead through Netflix in anticipation of it's return whenever that will be.
I forgot how much I liked that show.

Re: TV Shows
Watched episode 2 last night and again came away with the conclusion that they horribly miscast the show. Piper gets her ass kicked again. I suppose this will be the case in every episode, seeing how girly she is. But it was no more apparent than in the final minutes where Biatch from House plays her sweet, loving, sister and Piper is the CIA agent. It's too freaky. It just does not work for me. It seems they made the crucial mistake of putting the show together around Piper, the cute and likable actress, instead of focusing on the show and choosing the right actors.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Have it on DVR, gonna watch later.Sarcastic wrote:Woo, more Marsha!Chefpatrick871 wrote:Woo, White Collar tonight!

As I said, Emmanuelle Vaugier would have been perfect. She is super sexy, but she's also a tough chick and when she kicks ass, I can believe it.
They are really trying to make the show work though. They brought in another familiar face - the Indian guy from Heroes.

And how hot was Marsha Thomason in White Collar last night, playing the part of a prostitute? My god, she is really one of the prettiest girls on TV, IMO.

Two good episodes in a row. I like the two actresses. There is one person on the show that annoys the hell out of me. Rizolli's mom. She talks so slow like she had a brain injury.Point Breeze Penguins wrote:Rizolli and Isles is a winner. Great Show with a lot of potential.

I have never understood why everyone hates E. He's annoying sometimes, but so is everyone else in the show except Ari.
