I knew it was too much to hope she'd get eaten.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
i thought this episode was pretty good, but last week (which remains pointless) lowered the bar to an unbelievable depth, so maybe i just had low expectations.
my only beef was the thing where specificity has again been outlawed in the zombie apocalypse. hey, andrea...maybe descriptions of heads in fish tanks and torture sessions are little more impactful than, "he's crazy" or whatever when you're trying to convince people to turn against the governor.

But yeah... that was kinda like a Carmela episode of the Sopranos or a Michael episode of Lost...

I thought this week's was better than last week's. no Rick until 54th minute, and it's a glorified cameo. Almost like next week will be Rick group centric.

I thought the Governor was about to whistle "Zelda's Lullaby" for a second.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
I only had one problem with that episode. Andrea...you just escaped the governor, who drove there in a truck, how in the world will you get to the Prison...
Andrea: Oh, its a nice day, I'll just walk...
/end scene
Why wouldn't she either take the truck or cut the brakes/gas line in the truck if she wasn't going to take it. Just in case.

Yeah I had an issue with that as well, also the lack of explanation about how crazy the gov really is bothers me.npv708 wrote:I only had one problem with that episode. Andrea...you just escaped the governor, who drove there in a truck, how in the world will you get to the Prison...

Still, a very good episode. This is more like the governor from the comic.

Anyone enjoy the Talking Dead this week as much as me? Mcfarlane was awesome! He should be on there every week with his ideology of scenes...

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
we only got through the first half of TD last night - this was only our second week really of being caught up to be able to watch the TD. Was the other guy the one that plays Pindar on Franklin & Bash?Gage18 wrote:Anyone enjoy the Talking Dead this week as much as me? Mcfarlane was awesome! random note about last night...it makes me chuckle that the governor felt the need to prep his torture station so well in advance. he really couldn't have spared that twelve seconds it took to get all 4 of his instruments on the table once he was in the muck.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
I feel like thats a flaw in the actor, not the character. I think he's not slimey enough when he's clearly lying, or perhaps they write it so that you have to question motives, etc.PensFanInDC wrote:Yeah I had an issue with that as well, also the lack of explanation about how crazy the gov really is bothers me.npv708 wrote:I only had one problem with that episode. Also think that if Andrea was going to decide so quickly that she needed to kill him, why did she hesitate the first time?

When he was talking about gruesome details, I thought to myself, "This is why Todd Mcfarlane is Todd Mcfarlane."Gage18 wrote:Anyone enjoy the Talking Dead this week as much as me? Mcfarlane was awesome! He should be on there every week with his ideology of scenes...

I'm guessing we weren't supposed to be rooting for Andreas death as much as we were. On the bright side, I'm looking forward to her getting tortured.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
Yeah, lots of plot holes. How did the Gub'ner survive the hall o' zombies? It looked like he was eaten for sure.
Why not steal the Gub'ner's truck? How did he catch up to her so fast, without her hearing him? Why didn't she hear/see the zombies in the woods?
Not a terrible episode, but very much in line with what the new direction of show will be - episodes that feature a few characters, and much more character driven. Excellent point about this was very much like a Carmela-centric episode of Sopranos.
