Thats what I did in the draft, grabbing Reimer, Lehner, Enroth(who has now been replaced by Khudobin).

On the other hand, my goalie stat line this week so far is 5 - 1.57 - .949 - 2. :pop:

hah, kind of in a goalie hoarding mode right now. seeing that with Holtby's BS this season, I have exactly 0 legit 2014 goalie keepers.

He doesn't really look keeper worthy right now, i'd be betting on something changing between now and when i declare keepers for next year. you can make me an offer thoguh.

If anyone is looking to add a rookie with an expiring contract, let me know. Right now, I have 5 rookies (Jonas Brodin, Olli Maatta, Mark Schiefle, Sean Monahan, and Fredrick Anderson) whose contracts will expire at season's end (Monahan and Maatta havent yet, but will barring injury) . Also, I have 9 (maybe 10) non-rookie skaters/goalies whom I would a tough time not keeping if the season ended today. There is no way I will be able to keep everyone that I want to, so I am looking to make a move sooner rather than later.

Obviously, to help out with the numbers game I am dealing with, prospects and picks would be ideal, however, I am hurting for goaltending right now with Harding going down, so that is an option as well.

Since you have Harding down, I could give up Kuemper if you can upgrade a position for me...if you're interested in him. He's another expiring rookie, but that would fill in for this year and then you could send him down for free for the duration of the season.

Should have followed shutout protocol on this one, I guess.

Who is lead witht he shoulder? It looks like you are going to not get 3 starts this week. Which sucks because Halak in 2 starts gave up 2 goals and got you a shutout...and my usually stellar goalies crapped the bed. :pop:

That was a big win because Gary Swain has 10th, 11th, 12th place teams to finish the year. Its a joke that one of us will not get a bye.

I had a shutout from Lehtonen until 16 seconds left in the game on Saturday. I was not happy.

Why on earth is the finals matchup the second to last week of the year? That doesn't really make any sense.

Presumably because the last week isn't a full week?

Our finals is set to end on April 7 and the season goes to April 14. Very weird.

I am looking to strengthen my squad for the postseason. I have Jaden Schwartz, Alex Galchneyuk, Tyson Barrie, Reto Berra as expiring rookies. Picks and some of those rookies could be available. I'd also be interested in moving either Dustin Brown or Alex Edler frmo the category of disappointing 2013-2014 but good track record for past success to teams looking to add/upgrade final keeper slot.

I don't know how I am in 5th right now. No chance I beat Idoit or Kraftster in playoffs.

I want to rage over dropping Khudobin after I held him on IR for 2 months. That would be the perfect trade chip right now.

Speaking of that, Khudobin can be available. Darcy Kuemper is also available.

Remember to set your lineup tonight. Carolina and Buffalo play. Carolina has some rosterable players.

How do playoffs work -- Settings say 6 team. Is that top 6 overall, or top 3 from each division? Is that a dumb question?

I assume its top 1 in each division gets a bye then the remaining best 4 teams play.

That's going to suck. That means we're going to have to play in round 2 when we should just call off the playoffs and schedule us to play. Neither team deserves to not be in the finals.
