Re: Movie
Watched Wall Street over the weekend, aside from Martin Sheen and Michael Douglas, the acting is pretty bad, but it's a great movie.
Thanks to the disney thread, also watch Emperors New Groove with the kids, it was funny, I enjoyed it. It was an animated David Spade show, which isn't a bad thing

Iron Man 2 comes out in May, I think. I just wish Terrence Howard was playing Rhodey.
Terrence Howard played Rhodey in Iron man. Don Cheadle is playing him in 2. I don't like it when different actors are cast in sequels. Messes it up for me.

Paul Rudd's character in Wet Hot American Summer was really great. The scene where he whines and fusses about picking up the plate of food that he had just swatted onto the floor is one of my favorite scenes in cinematic history.

Re: Movie
Watched two on the weekend.
Paranormal Activity: Loved it. I like the "horror" movies that leave you guessing, and more specifically, never let you actually SEE what is terrorizing people (a lot like the Blair Witch Project). Only complaint I had was the ending. It was a bit of a let down. The alternate ending was even worse. But all in all, the movie scared the bejesus out of me. Maybe not "scared", but made me very uneasy.
District 9: Liked it, didn't love it. Don't see why it got nominated for an Oscar. A very intriguing story though.

Paul Rudd's character in Forgetting Sarah Marshall was also great.
The scene where Peter comes back and wants to actually surf this time...
Peter: Look Kunu, I want to get on a board before I leave this island.
Kunu: I don't think you're ready, man.
Peter: I'm ready to ride giants, Kunu!
Kunu: I think you're ready.
Hahahaha.

I thought D9 was one positive to the Oscars having 10 Best Picture Nominees this year. The huge negative, of course, was Blind Side.rosey6629 wrote:
