if taco bell is going to pretend like a "world class" chef makes their food, they should pick one that more than 3 people have ever heard of.

"Lupus"
"ahhhh"
But seriously, still despise the bearded freak on the NFL commercials.

And by "quirky and engaging", we mean "creepy and uncomfortable", then sure. Dude looks like he probably smells like someone who hasn't showered in three weeks.JS© wrote:In the launch commercials highlighting Thursday Night Football and NFL.com Fantasy Football, “It’s Serious Fun” show that there’s more to football than Xs and Os. David&Goliath brings the idea to life featuring a deadpan yet charismatic character who speaks in a serious tone…all while talking about the fun of Thursday Night Football or NFL.com Fantasy Football. He does so in locations that are purposely dramatic and serious, yet he’s quirky and engaging.
I have no idea what the league was going for with this. Some horrible attempt to get a Zach Galifianakis-type presence to their brand?

I wouldn’t say it makes be contemplate homicide, but I find the Super Beta Prostate radio commercials starring Hulk Hogan to be sad and unconformable. The brief window in my life when I watched professional wrestling was at the height of his WWF career (the era of Hulk Hogan, George “The Animal” Steele, Andre the Giant, the Iron Sheik, King Kong Bundy, etc.) I don’t really want to hear that he now has to get up to pee 10 times every night.

Just saw the TV version. I'm guessing this is the "eat your vitamins" part that he was talking about.Shyster wrote:I wouldn’t say it makes be contemplate homicide, but I find the Super Beta Prostate radio commercials starring Hulk Hogan to be sad and unconformable. For anyone living in the Delaware Valley (and perhaps elsewhere?). There is a commercial advocating oil heat with this annoying girl sobbing hysterically about the ozone layer, saving the whales, being "on the grid", and other environmental stuff. Her mother calms her down by explaining that they use oil heat, not like those evil gas frackers. The girl is SO annoying.

Whoever started the "real customer" trend with car commercials. I believe it started either with "hidden cameras during test drives" or "press conferences"... now we get bull **** like "Grounded to the ground" LOLOLOLLOLERSKATES. *headshot*

stupid kid wants a treat at the supermarket. says...
"PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSE"
mom gives him a box of fruit rollups - acting like she's tricking him into eating fruit. but really she just gave her whiny kid a big box of flexible candy to stop him from being annoying. i hate that commercial on many levels.

I just want to remind everyone in this thread that no commercial will ever match the hatred engendered by the radio commercials regarding tinnitus and the high-pitched squeaking hell that came through your speakers.

Outback Steakhouse's announcer with that phony accent.
Jim Koch for Sam Adams Octoberfest. He sounds like he is drunk and has lost his voice.
