Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
So I'll be traveling for business this week. It's a shame we couldn't get anyone drafted. I'll PM my picks to Pitts and KS if I can't be on when its my turn.

I've been last place for a long time, would that really be a wise choice?Pitts wrote:So, he'll be drafting all your guys for himself?Malkamaniac wrote:KS has my next three rounds.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Yes, email sent. He did tell me a few weeks back that he had business in Europe for 2 weeks starting around the 15th -- I hope he checks in soon! I know he was hoping to get the first few rounds in before taking off, so perhaps he will send me a draft plan.

Pick coming. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my pick while I'm gone. If we stick to the one-round-a-day pace we've had, I could probably start each day for you with my pick. If we're going faster, I'll have to send a list. Decisions.

minus 11 or 12 keepers (depending on if you made the playoffs), so 14 rounds + rookies? 15?Beveridge wrote:25 + rookies

I don't believe rookies kept (retained eligibility) count in the current draft rounds.orpchar wrote:minus 11 or 12 keepers (depending on if you made the playoffs), so 14 rounds + rookies? 15?Beveridge wrote:25 + rookies
I count 9 rounds left for regular draft. (but I could be wrong!)

Damn. I thought Josi was taken. Like him better than Faulk there.

So's Faulk, actually, in many respects at least. Right now he's a high floor guy, but I think he could pop at some point a la Suter.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
How does the final roster work out? What I mean is how are rookies handled.
Like right now I have 21 players but 3 of them are carryover rookies and one rookie from this year's class. Does this mean I still draft 8 players (+3 more current rookies) and then I just make a roster of 25 and if I use a rookie, I have to release a regular? And does Yahoo have you carry farm players or is it basically, you add/drop them but nobody else can so you can use your rookie for a few days and then "demote" after that?
