Re: Movie
wet hot american summer might be my favorite movie of all time. and now i have to watch it because you guys mentioned it.shmenguin wrote:"you taste like a burger. i don't like you anymore"Troy Loney wrote:Role models was awesome.meecrofilm wrote:I've seen it a bunch of times, but Role Models is on HBO right now and it keeps getting funnier each time I see it. Paul Rudd is just a comic genius right now.
Paul Rudd's character in Wet Hot American Summer was really great. The scene where he whines and fusses about picking up the plate of food that he had just swatted onto the floor is one of my favorite scenes in cinematic history.
i also love saved! classic.

Re: Movie
Gotta stop watching so many movies...
The Illusionist.. pretty good... ok plot development--The acting was the best thing it had going for it (Giamatti is great, Norton and Sewell are decent too).

I'm kind of upset I left work on time today. Not enough time to watch sleepaway camp 3.
I think tonight, I finish that off and then go with night of the demons or UHF.

Re: Movie
I had to see like 5 trailers of that to decide what it was trying to be. I determined that I don't care to see a prison horror movie. Its probably worth a shady acquisition to me, but no more.mac5155 wrote:i cant wait until Shutter Island comes out. I will probably go see it right away.

I'm not going to look up who's in what movie, but is Scorsese sticking with a core group of actors? Is this something he's always done? I'm not a big film buff, but that's 2 in a row with DiCaprio.mac5155 wrote:i cant wait until Shutter Island comes out. I will probably go see it right away.

DiCaprio is his new De Niro. It's actually 4 in a row for DiCaprio. Gangs of New York, Aviator, Departed, and now Shutter Island.tjand72 wrote:I'm not going to look up who's in what movie, but is Scorsese sticking with a core group of actors? Watched A Serious Man last night, if you are not a Coen bros. fan, I doubt you will like it, that said, I thought it was good, not my favorite, but I got a good message from it and look forward to more from them.
