Are Yinzer stereotype jokes and impressions all Dunlap knows how to do? He just goes back to that well day after day after day
Case in point:
Um guys proposing at sporting events has never ever been a "yinzer" thing. And neither is tailgating a funeral. I think Jeff Foxworthy did a bit where a redneck was drinking at a funeral, but nothing to do with yinzers. This is all the "comedy" material this guy has.

Hold up.
A jagoff proposed on Kiss Cam at the Pens game?
-Was it staged or legit?
-If real, that's more Yinzer than tailgating a funeral.
Guy calls in and says his kid wrestled but his school wasn't a good program so he used someone else's address and sent him to a different school where they had a better program and his kid was successful. Wanted Zeise's opinion.
Zeise said well, you do what you have to for your kid.
Uh Paul- till sometime when we have a voucher system where you can send your kid somewhere else legally- or you pay tuition if allowed- that's actually fraud, dude.
So ended my 10 minutes of Zeise today.

Christ. Dunlaps one one of his "I'll bait 2 or 3 Yinzers into saying something negative about my BFF Pedro so I can blow it out of proportion and spend all day defending him cuz we're buddies now" kicks
The thing that bothers me with dunlap is this all started last year when he had like a 5 minute sit down with Pedro Alvarez. He has been on this weirdo crusade ever since to preach about how hard working, wonderfully nice, perfect person Pedro is and he gets so g'damn offended anytime someone says so much as "Pedro struck out 3 times" after a game in which Pedro struck out 3 times. And like today, he's purposely baiting people into disagreeing with him so he can go on the defense for no reason. Because I think Pedro Alvarez sucked last year, I'm a sane, rational person so I don't take that as thinking Pedro Alvarez is a horrible human being. Doesn't seem like Dunlap can make that separation of people.
I feel like if Zeise had a normal voice, he'd be a good radio guy. Dunlap just sounds like a turd both on the radio and the stories you hear about him off the radio, with Jesse's story being the outlier.
I don't mind Zeise at all His speech is f'd up but maybe I just don't listen enough for him to annoy me. I don't even hate dunlap. I've stated many times I enjoy every Saturday morning listening to him with Bucco talk, but man he's a 1st rate tool sometimes. Probably the only local guys I 100% don't like ever is Rossi, Poni, and Mueller. Dejan's an honorable mention on that list altho he's tolerable the 5% of the time he's not trying to shame the fans into how they should think and feel about something.
Dunlap still doesn't have the flow down right in the mornings. The content problem is one that's no different -- though some would say worse -- than when GG was there, but GG was very polished as a traffic controller.

This. I actually listening to what Zeise has to say, his voice and delivery is just not made to run a radio program. He is good for a 10 minute interview, but not a whole show.
Dunlap just drives me nuts. But I'm not allowed to say that anymore.
