7th time this season we’ve blown a 2+ goal lead….it’s only game 20 of the season.
Embarrassing
If I'm not mistaken it was 12-13 over the entire Season last Year.
But its not the Coach and the System that causes this, right?

If we're looking for positives, I think the 3rd line looks lively again, and Pickering has been decent on his debut.
Both on Point.Ponomorev didn't look out of place either.

Sullivan had to put Nieto and Acciari with OC instead of Poulin and Puljujarvi. He just can’t trust younger players. He never rewards young players when they are having a good game. He always defaults to his bottom six defensive forwards.

Maybe Sid can get #600 to be an OT Winner.
I'm going with this.

This team still has no idea how to play in OT

Yeah, I think Ponomarev has looked decent too. It's just that he's only had 8:40 of ice time, so it's hard to say too much one way or another.

It's very sad, but at this point I hope they don't win another game until Sullivan is fired.
It's obviously going to take something catastrophic to do something that should have been done years ago.

Why in the world would Pettersson leave the zone there under no pressure?

Because they had nothing and avoided forcing it like the usually do for a turnover and rush that loses the game. That’s always the right idea.

Anything but 2 points tonight is a colossal failure even if you didn’t know they blew a 3-0 lead. And knowing that, 2 in a SO isn’t ideal.

Doesn’t feel like a win. Blowing a 3 goal lead at home against SJ is a joke.

Well,it ended up with a Win.2 Points still get awarded.Good Start, faded iate, found a way to get the SO Victory.
The 3rd Line with another Solid Game and the decent play from the Younger Guys(Poulin,Pickering,Ponomorev,Pulujujarvi) are positives.
Sid did everything he could to get #600.Strong Game from the Captain.
The "Top 2" Defense Pairing of EK and MP just continue to play poorly.
Ned wasn't Terrible, made some tough saves despite the blown lead.
The Mike Sullivan System continues to offer evidence of how unsuccessful it is.Another blown 2+ Goal Lead, panicked and indecisive defensively. If Jarry played they likely lose.To have that game get to OT and a Shootout against a bad Sharks Team is all the more proof.

Agreed. Having eek out a win against SJ?
Gee, how can you tell the difference between these 2 pathetic teams? Sad, really sad.
