Re: Current video game being played
I think ODST sucks. The multiplayer is Halo 3 multiplayer which is good. The Firefight mode doesn't have match making so it is rather pointless. The single player is absolutely horrible.
I'll sell it for $50 to anyone lol.

Playing Gears 1 on Insane, this is so much more unforgiving compared to 2. But I love the Gears series. It's my game crush.

Re: Current video game being played
Anyone (more specifically, this one seems like NAN would be most interested) catch the Super Mario Wii clips?
Looks like they went back to the original Mario Bros. but updated and can now do 4 player co-op.

Gears 1 is definitely more difficult on Insane than Gears 2. Especially the final boss.SolidSnake wrote:Playing Gears 1 on Insane, this is so much more unforgiving compared to 2. But I love the Gears series. It's my game crush.

As soon as my closing is done, I'm going to wrap up Punch Out on the Wii before moving onto Lego Batman.

Nice!
I bought Batman Arkham Asylum off of Steam. Wow, best game I have played in a long time. And I *hate* comic book stuff so that is saying something lol.

Been playing NHL 10 mixing in a little of the Show and need to get back to Arkham Asylum at some point. Although between Pens games, a free Center Ice Preview and baseball playoffs the ps3 won't be on much this month.

Re: Current video game being played
I really liked Arkham Asylum, but i had some problems with it...
1. I felt that I relied on the detective/heat sensitive mode way too much....its like most of the eye catching graphics were brushed aside by it. sometimes, i would switch out of the mode just to see how the graphics were.
2. wtf was with the end boss...
3. secret bat cave on the island? really? that was the best you could do? why not come up with a make shift cave where you would have to collect random instruments from the island and kind of fashion something together.
4. the DNA trail stuff was lame...honestly, did the girl you are following really touch every bookcase and what not on her way?

Re: Current video game being played
I'm really enjoying Forgotten Hope 2 to the point that I am looking to build a new (albeit low-end) gaming PC.
This is such a cool mod and I wished more people played it in North America. It is a lot more popular in Europe, so I usually have to play on German or UK servers. Not the best experience for a 4 year old gaming PC.
But if you like World War II FPS, this is a great mod for Battlefield 2.

Good street battles here:

Here is a video trailer for the first release.

They've also done some of the North African battles in previous releases.

Re: Current video game being played
NHL 10 is pretty good, though I think some people are finding the glitch goals, because I see a lot of people repeating the same moves to score.
Also been playing Left 4 Dead Crash Course. I was a little angry they waited so long to release this, then charge $7 for it when L4D2 is a month away. Well I broke down and bought it. This should have been free. It was only a two level campaign.
To the guy who asked about R6, you can get it real cheap. I would do it. Online multi is tough though. You have to be careful or else you will die before you even put the disc in.
