PSI reports Laraque injures shoulder while lifting weights

The only thing that I would be worried about in terms of a lifting injury would be a torn muscle or a detatched muscle. As he did not go into surgery, I am not worried about this injury come camp.

With shoulders, you should be worrying about a torn rotator-cuff or a torn labrum.

I was saying that if it were something like one of those, he would have gone to surgery to fix it. It wouldn't be a wait and see thing. For you and me... sure. But a professional athlete isn't going to play the waiting game.
