Watched the end of the Dallas, Chicago game tonight on Center Ice... the moose came up huge in OT to get it to a shoot out... then took the Hawks to like ninth man in the shootout before the so called best shootout team in NHL history finally one the game....
he looked awesome... the dallas players were not even throwing moves on the bulinwall... just trying to wrist it by him... mean while the hawks were throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the burg... looked amazing... although very tiny in the net....
side note... only hawk to score on the moose... u know it mathew barnaby... first skater... and zoomed in on his face before he took off... gave the moose a big barnaby smile like i know your weakness from practice and then beat him 5 hole....
if the moose is a free agent i would highly consider signing the man...
what do you all think?
Explain to me why pens let the moose go?

He was traded because we had 3 goalies under contract and just drafted Fleury who by all accounts was the most tal;ented of the four. We got a 2nd rounder for him which was a good pickup.
I liked Hedberg, wouldn't mind having him and Fleury be my two goalies. This goes back to CP giving Caron that ridiculous 4 year, one-way deal he did that summer.

That was one of his most stupid signings. Caron played decent for 25 games and they gave him way too much cash for too long and 1-way to boot. By contrast, they stomped on Aubin every chance they got and low balled him into submission.
I never got that. I'm not saying Aubin was the next coming of Brodeur, but what did Caron do to deserve a 4 year 1 way deal? moron.

Not to take this thread in another direction but...fourtKNOX wrote:side note... only hawk to score on the moose... u know it mathew barnaby... first skater... and zoomed in on his face before he took off... gave the moose a big barnaby smile like i know your weakness from practice and then beat him 5 hole....
Barnaby proves AGAIN that he's the absolute best athlete I've ever seen in any sport for getting in an opponents head.
The guy is just a complete natural at "P'ing people off".
I swear he could make the Pope take a swing at him.

I just want to know how the heck he does it.
It's such a large part of his game. If he wasn't so good at it, I doubt he'd have ever made it to the NHL. The rest of his skills are AHL level.
Weird.
