Too bad Montreal has been playing Aebischer just as much as Huet down the stretch. I couldn't figure that out.elij21 wrote:I'm Chearing for the underdog Montreal Canadiens, only because of Huet is been awesome. Go Habs Go
I will still root for Tampa because of Brad Richards. I will also be rooting for the Rangers to upset the Devils and out west I like the Sharks.

I'm going with the Devils for two reasons:
1) They are representing our division and I prefer them over the Flyers.
2) Lou Lamoriello. This guy always has his team(s) competing at a high level. He doesn't go out and blow mass quantities of cash (NYR/Philly) on players to only see them bomb in the long run.

In regards to Lou, alot of hockey people thought, with no more trap, the Devils would be finished, plus the fact they lost Stevens and Neidermeyer, that this team would struggle in the defensive zone, Lou has proven them all wrong till now, as they look great, and got hot at the right time.
Only thing is, that they did sign Mogilny for something like $3.5, and Malakhov for about $3.6, in the offseason, if i remember correctly. That was OVERPAYING for a couple of hasbeens for sure.

I used to root for Edmonton all the time, but I can't root for Chris Pronger or Mike Peca - I hate both of them.ziggystardust wrote:elij21 wrote:I'm Chearing for the underdog Montreal Canadiens, only because of Huet is been aswome. Go Habs Go
The Oilers and the Sabres are my second and third favorite teams in the NHL... after that, I'll be cheering for Kovy in Montreal.

Edmonton, as a team, does play the game the right way. That's the reason I have rooted for them in years past. They used to be my second favorite team because of that.ziggystardust wrote:woah! why?!?netwolf wrote:I used to root for Edmonton all the time, but I can't root for Chris Pronger or Mike Peca - I hate both of them.ziggystardust wrote:elij21 wrote:I'm Chearing for the underdog Montreal Canadiens, only because of Huet is been aswome. they play the game the way its meant to be played!
Pronger and Peca are dirty as all hell though. Pronger had the talent to play a clean, physical game but chooses to be one of the biggest stick men in the game. Peca is another Darcy Tucker. I can't root for a team with those two, I just can't.
