Digital cable box- NHL Center Ice playoffs

Post by Racer17 »

Weird question-

I work in Bethesda, MD and have Center Ice on my Comcast digital cable box. I live in Pittsburgh and commute home weekly, but have only expanded basic cable with Comcast.

Question is- If I take my digital cable box from Maryland and hook it up in Pittsburgh, will it work and allow me to see my Center Ice playoffs and other Maryland programs- but in Pittsburgh?

Thanks in advance!

Normally if you are moving, I think you need to return your current box and then pick up a new one once you move to Pittsburgh.

So, I'd say that you wouldn't be able to move boxes like that. You will probably have to get another box or even another cable contract at your other residence. If you don't have a digital cable contract at your Pittsburgh location you will probably have to sign up for additional service.

I'd call Comcast to be sure.

The answer is No. They turn it on via address.

Call comcast and get it transferred.
