2006 Curse of Recchi continues

The Carolina Hurricanes are getting whipped by the Montreal Canadiens. I like the young aggressive style of the Canes but part of me thinks they made two mistakes by acquiring Doug Weight and Mark Recchi.

Weight and Recchi only came to Carolina to be in the playoffs because St. Louis and Pittsburgh sucked under their leadership or lack-there-of.

I'm going to take great joy seeing Recchi get blasted by the fans in Carolina for missing his assignments in the defensive zone because he was floating back to coverage.

Recchi fell over while on the point of a PP.

Good to see some things never change.

I just hope Recchi does not come back for another season,
Pretty sure CP would take him back....but since there is no more CP, the Pens should be safe from having Recchi return,

He was one of my favorites, but his better days are behind him, and its time to move on
