Has it ever happened that all the top seeds in a conference exited in the first round of the playoffs?
#1 Detroit is lucky, imho, to be at 1-1 with Edmonton. This series could have easily been 2-0 for the Oil.
#2 Dallas has played all of about 30 minutes of "motivated" hockey in this series....two games, 10 goals against.
#3 Calgary {see #1 above}. While I enjoy watching the excitement of a Calgary home game, they are also looking at the loss of home ice after 2 games. However, of the 4 top seeds, I can see the Flames as the only team to save face.
#4 Nashville - San Jose is the one team, of the lower seeds, I would not have wanted to face in the west heading into the playoffs.....especially combined with Nashville's goaltending situation.
First Round Exit For the Top 4 Seeds in the West?

Two down, two to go
#2 Dallas out
#4 Nashville out
Edmonton's chance is tonight......otherwise it is Detroit.
I'm still not banking on the Mighty Ducks, but who knows......???

Mike Emrick was with somebody during the flyer/sabres game ,
not ready for prime time or OLN time. Some of these guys
make Bob Errey sound good.

I'm not saying anything to jinx anybody.

Did OLN go out and hire some local broadcasters?
I think the guy that used to do the Avs' games {now in St. Louis?} did the San Jose-Nashville game with Neil Smith last night.
