I thought originally Flyer Nation had a very good point about Philly pounding Buffalo into submisssion as the series went on. However, after watching game #5, it seesm Buffalo is no worse the wear. Philly actually looked like the tired team in this match up. The Sabres came out flying from jump. Last two games (I think this series will have a game seven) will be very, interesting to see who can be "the last man standing".
Hitchcock's system is less effective when the other team skates harder. It's difficult to acheive that in Philly because the Flyer get that adrenaline boost and can match them in spurts. If Buffalo gets the early lead they will win it in 6. Otherwise 7.Jamie wrote:I thought originally Flyer Nation had a very good point about Philly pounding Buffalo into submisssion as the series went on.
