Save the Pens Rally / Pens vs. Isles Roll Call Thread

Post by netwolf »

Judy and I are in. I traded in my tickets for the March 24th Islander game for seats tomorrow. I think we are in C1.

If you see a guy with a Cup-era black Francis jersey and a girl with a white Crosby jersey, feel free to stop by and say hello before the game or during one of the intermissions.

We're probably headed to Robinson after the game for dinner and if anyone wants to make it an LGP outing, that's fine with us.

I'll be there....

I should have a sign with me as well, if you a see a tall white guy with a Crosby jersey on...that's me.

I know that doesn't narrow it down much, but if I figure out which sign im doing I'll let everyone know and that's how you can know who I am...lol

On this weekend filled with cliches time for the
penguin fans to show up, be seen, be heard.

For those not able to attend I just hope you can
respect the efforts of the fans; don't be quick
to judge...Rome & New Igloo not built in a day.

lets go pens & here we go steelers!

Stoosh and I are going tomorrow. Not sure exactly what time we're getting to the rally but we'll be at the game. He has the tickets. I think we're going to be in C12

WOW what a turnout. I have to say that the hats and shirts given out fro Pittsburgh First are top notch.

Here's my favorite sign from the day

I was shocked at the turnout... even in the rain. We have to keep this up.

Both Spoon and I were there and I have to say, I was taken aback by the crowd of people that showed up. Absolutely speechless. It was very refreshing to see, and I know I will try to be present for as many of these as I can in the future.

They had handouts about a rally at the Rendell Fundraiser this coming Thursday the 9th from 5-9. I have to laugh though because it states;

"A peaceful showing of support for our Pens and the IOC proposal."

Peaceful? I think it could get ugly.

Peaceful? Does that mean Errey won't be there to lead us in the Rendell Sucks chant?

I was SO proud of you guys & wishing I could be there! National news picked it up & the word is out. If this doesn't make Pittsburgh feel a little ashamed, then nothing will! I only wish the Pens could have won this game today...this day before the Super Bowl. They need to stay a bit more in the limelight, & the Steelers are going to make that tough for them tomorrow.

I guess so......

But that doesn't mean someone else can't start them.
