Scuderi throws Pfalffy under the bus?

Post by Tico Rick »

I'm I reading too much into this comment, or is Scuderi calling out Ziggy?

This from Scuderi, talking about Gonchar, in today's T-R:

"He's certainly out there trying every game," Scuderi said. "It's not like he's given up. It's not like he faked an injury and tried to get out. He's a professional."

Was this about Gonchar or Palfy?

The way I see it, it is Scuds talking about Gonchar, but throwin' the "fake an injury" comment as a jab at Palffy. I'd take it that way.

That has to be a jab at Palffy. Good foir Scuds. The more I think and hear about this Palffy situation, the more it smells.

Sort of like Ulfie, eh? He pulled a disappearing act every year in the playoffs. Wouldn't want a guy like that on my team. Never. You just don't win Cups with guys like that.

As for Palffy, he's a head case. He is the type of guy who makes your statement come true. I think he did basically quit, and will be back playing next year. Oh well, at least it helped keep Fleury here.

But can you really say all Euros disappear? Look at all the Red Wings Euros when they won Cups. Guys like Konstantinov. How can you not like a guy like that?

Unless you can back it up, I'd avoid this type of generalization. It's the type of thing that just isn't true, and is meant to inflame, I think.

Don't try reasoning MCM. Don't you realize who randy is? I'll give you a hint: he used to post at the old board under a different name about Bigfoot and the weather in between his disregard for European players and his theory of requiring all defensemen to always have both hands on their stick.

Not only that, but suspiciously this post was made Thursday..

Rendell was on with Fred Honsperger on Thursday.

He said the licenses will de doled out in November or December.
He said he has no say in the board decision, and the law is written so the board will not be influenced by outsiders (if you believe that)
He said the board has about 13 differnet things to look at including the casino size and how much tax dollars it generates for this state. (thats what the politicos are being dickheads about)

Mario needs to show how much charity his golf tourney generates, and tell how much he's given to hospitals in the region. He should also consider moving elsewhere to do this work if the team leaves.

Id like to see the medical community start speaking up for Mario
On the Pens post-game later that night, a caller with the same 'name' as a former mildy successful fake wrastler called in and said the same thing, almost verbatim. Same dog. Same tricks.

You'll get agreement from me there, don't get me wrong. I'm comfortably aboard the conspiracy bandwagon on this one.

But his place of birth has nothing to do with it, IMO.

In his latest Q&A Molinari said the Pens think Palffy is faking. Who cares. It is a good thing IMO that the Pens are rid of a piece of soft floating trash. His Cap # was a total waste. Hopefully the booing convinces the other ridiculous offseason signing to quit as well.
