Anybody planning to speak at Gaming Control Board hearings?

Hearings to be held on April 18/19 at the William Penn. Individuals get 3 minutes to speak. Community groups get 10 minutes. Registration is due before March 6. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get some people lined up to speak at this event. Obviously if a few groups could speak, there is more time at our disposal. Ideally, we need to come in prepared with facts...especially focus on key issues such as the economic impact of the team on the community, potential issues of location on Carson Street, the track record of Forest City to not follow through on their development projects, the current condition of the Mellon Arena and the fact that tax dollars will need to be used to maintain it until a new arena will be built, etc
