Wheeling Nailers sign Pittsburgh Kid

Bernie Chmiel became the first member of the 2006-2007 Wheeling Nailers. Chmiel is from Pittsburgh and attended Sacred Heart University for the past 4 seasons.

Did he play for the short-lived Pittsburgh Forge of the NAHL? I went quite a few of those games on Neville Island and that name sounds familiar.
