He is tied for 2nd in scoring in the AHL, not too bad when you look at the ages of most of these guys who are in the top 10 to 15 in scoring. With Jeffrey moved to LW maybe he gets another shot at the NHL this year.

Definitely nice to see he can produce at wing... it's tough to crack a center spot on this Penguins roster. Jeffrey-Letestu-Johnson is a beast of a line right now.

Good for DJ...he's a bonafide future NHL'er. Ideally he'll be here next season if Staal or Kennedy cracks the top 6 or if Cooke isn't resigned. Hopefully Cookie sticks around though.

I don't think he takes the Cookie spot. I think he takes the Adams/Zigo/Hall/etc. spot of the 4th line C who can play decent PK time.

I didn't mean whose shoes he'd fill as much as who would leave the bottom six to make room for him. I see him and/or Vitale centering the bottom two lines in the future.
