I have family in Milwaukee (my dad's from Wisconsin, mom's from Minnesota), and I go back to Wisconsin all the time. And let me tell you, I can totally see that happening. They race lawn mowers in Wisconsin. Ah, good old Wisconsin. The biggest thing in my dad's hometown in northern Wisconsin (where I am forced to spend my vacations), is the county fair every August, and Mardi Gras in the middle of July. Yes, I know...Mardi Gras in the middle of July. It's kind of weird. It's fun, they've got rides and contests and such, but still a little random. Come to think of it, so it the float parade on the river, with the Mardi Gras Queen nominees.

Hey, where is that? Sounds like it might just be fun. Lord knows I'm always looking for interesting things to do here.....ushockeyteam1980 wrote:The biggest thing in my dad's hometown in northern Wisconsin (where I am forced to spend my vacations), is the county fair every August, and Mardi Gras in the middle of July.

(Now, please remind me somebody, why did I move here?
