College Hoops
NJIT just won at Michigan. I remember when they started their program 7 or 8 years ago in a high school gym, lost their first like 50 games.

And my Boilermakers lose at home to the North Florida Osprey. Rough day for the Big Ten, I wish we could play the ACC all the time....

NJIT is undefeated in its history vs ranked teams.... at 1-0.
So how's that waterfall workin' out for ya?NJIT is left hoping that someone, perhaps in the America East or the Northeast Conference, will take notice of the team whose gym boasts a capacity of 1,500 -- along with two weight rooms, a jogging track and a sauna.
Michigan recently installed an indoor waterfall in its home arena

Was going to go to the Duquesne vs. PSU game on Wednesday up here, but it doesn't start til 9. I'm not going to stay up that late on a work night.... I know. I'm an old man.

8-1 start. This is about the time I start paying attention and coincidentally about the time they drop a game at home to some team like Duquesne before getting slaughtered in the B1G.count2infinity wrote:Was going to go to the Duquesne vs. PSU game on Wednesday up here, but it doesn't start til 9. Allegedly they have some good recruits coming in, heard that before though. They are a nice diversion every 10 years or so.

Re: College Hoops
Providence lost to freaking Brown tonight.
They do this at least once every year, Brown (twice now), Maine, Holy Cross.....
Now on a 3 game skid (one was Kentucky tho)
Much profanity.

Re: College Hoops
Now 11-1, but hard to say what they are yet. Have not lost to any crap OOC teams yet although they have 1 more shot. But their only major conference wins were VT and USC- basically their meh basketball equivalents in the ACC and Pac 12. Picked up a couple mid major road wins at Bucknell and Marshall. I read that those being on the road will help their RPI.shafnutz05 wrote:Best start for PSU hoops in 19 years iwanttobelieve.gif
For all the talk about Chambers being a Philly guy- only Philly school on the sked is Drexel at Allentown? They need to play in Philly at least once a year, maybe rotate home and home vs the Big 5.

Are you psychic? They didn't win and become 11-1 until the game ended at 4:09 PM today.

I have a feeling they're going to come back down to Earth once the B1G schedule starts up.

Me too, Wisconsin on NYE will be a big opening test. Like to see them be able to hold their own.count2infinity wrote:I have a feeling they're going to come back down to Earth once the B1G schedule starts up.
Actually getting a few votes in the polls. Not that I agree with that but good for them.
