My girlfriend layed her face on my Malkin jersey and her makeup seamed to have made the 'A' an off white color instead of the pure white of the rest of the patches on the jersey.
Anyone know of a good way to clean and whiten the patches on the jersey without damaging them?

Do what you think is best, and if it doesn't work out, get a new A and have a tailor/seamstress swap it out.

I thought you weren't supposed to dry clean jerseys

Re: Help with hockey jersey cleaning
Cold water, inside out. Then hang dry it. Do not put it in the dryer! You risk ruining the stiffness of the names and numbers, plus if anything is glued on the jersey you risk numbers, letters pealing.
