Manchester, OKC, Glens Falls, Norfolk and Worcester are moving, 3 are currently in the Eastern Conference. Makes sense, Ducks had real issues calling up players this year.
Really hope this also means Charlotte takes Norfolk's spot in the East division and I can see WBS again since East does not play west during the season.

Norfolk ------San Diego (ANAHEIM)
Glen Falls ---Stockton (CALGARY)
OK City -----Bakersfield (EDMONTON)
Manchester--Ontario (LOS ANGELES)
Worcester---San Jose (SAN JOSE)
The new Bakersfield AHL franchise will be replacing the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors
Norfolk AHL Admirals will be replaced by the previous Bakersfield ECHL franchise, believed to be named the Norfolk Admirals and will play in the ECHL. http://wavy.com/2015/01/28/admirals-mov ... -thursday/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
To avoid confusion, San Jose (AHL) will not be called the Sharks: http://www.masslive.com/falcons/index.s ... _that.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Glen Falls will be replaced by the former Stockton franchise. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ho ... /22537545/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
San Diego AHL franchise believed to be named either Gulls or Admirals, as both "SanDiegoGullsHockey.com" and "SanDiegoAdmirals.com" have been acquired by the a company where the Ducks' CEO also happens to be the managing director: http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2015/jan ... ego-gulls/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: AHL creating a division in California
My seats at Ontario for the Reign that I most never get to use will probably be going up. I am going to talk to my ticket account rep tomorrow to see how this impacts things. I can almost hear him now, "Better quality product, more demand, more $$$. But, sign up now for a three year plan and we can lock you into a great rate..."
I haven't seen anything as to a change in team name.

Ontario franchise possibly heading to Manchester as an ECHL replacement being discussed

The Ontario Reign of the East Coast Hockey League, another team owned by the Kings, could move to the Queen City and play its home games at the Verizon Wireless Arena beginning next fall, Welch said.
