Sure....that would make sense. He's a good GM and they could do a lot worse.

He may have had some shining moments but too many his awe $h!t contracts are what stick out most in my mind.

He certainly had flaws that revealed themselves as soon as he no longer had a generational talent on an elc, but hes definitely a good gm.

Possible monkey wrench in Ottawa's plans? The Panthers have hired former Philthy president Peter Lukko to oversee hockey operations. Lukko spent 20 years with the Flyers. If Lukko decides Tallon's not the man for the job....

or re-signing veterans in the back 9 of their career to lengthy contracts.

Shero might be a good GM for a young team in development. I would not trust him on an established team like ours was because it seemed he put us on a 5-year plan (looking at his drafts) rather than looking at current needs and keeping the type of deep successful team we had in tact.
