Wouldnt mind bringing him on as an assistant next season...maybe between Tocchet and Berube, we could finally find a way to beat them haha.

Here's hoping the follow the SOP and stay within the organIzation. But I bet they won't this time.
If they get someone remotely competent, I'll be very unhappy. And, unfortunately, I bet they will this time.

In keeping with their tradition, I am hoping for Dave *cough* Schultz.

Why would they hire a coach that was repeatedly humiliated by Berube???jpvs2k6 wrote:Dan Bylsma.

Bylsma won't be any team's short list of candidates.

Bylsma is going to have to get back into the NHL by way of being an Assistant somewhere, I bet.

I fully expect them to woo Babcock and sign him to a 35 year, 2 trillion dollar contract and give him full control over all coaching and personnel decisions.

Them bringing in Babcock and giving him control of everything would basically make Hextall useless. I guess they could do that, but I think they're sticking everything in Hextall's basket to turn that team around.

He will not be the 'yes man' they are looking for. Disco Dan certainly could be that guy.jimreb wrote:Them bringing in Babcock and giving him control of everything would basically make Hextall useless. That said... if they land Babs, it signals some real change. They would be a much more dangerous team with him at the helm.
