As a resident of Las Vegas and hockey fan, I'd like to say welcome to Las Vegas and the Golden Knights!
It's official, so I am posting this in the NPR board.
Welcome to your new home, Marc Andre Fleury!

And I just realized the connection- they drafted Fleury #29 in their expansion draft.

Of all the articles I've read about the Knights, this one seems to me to be the best actual analysis.

Vegas has 14 D (12 under contract, 2 RFAs). One of those 14 is waiver exempt. Of the remaining 13 probably only 7 would stay up with the team. That means that 6 would have to clear waivers for Vegas to keep them. I would expect a considerable number of trades in Vegas' very near future.
