It really is. His wife just posted an update an hour ago that said tests confirmed he won't wake up, and he will only be kept on life support long enough to arrange organ donation.

Yeah, saw Kelsie's post on Twitter yesterday and the update today. Stinks, but at least he went out raising as much awareness as he could, getting in on an ALS clinical trial to help others, and donating his organs to help others.
