An odd move. I understand Pickering to WBS simply because he's waiver exempt, but, recalling Imama, a tough guy, is a stumper.

Yeah, little strange. I get we are down a forward if Rust is out today. We could have gone with 11 F 7 D men for a game. Less of the 4th line, the better. Picks should be back up soon.

Yeah, that seems a bit odd. Of all the options in WBS, why him?
Thought maybe he's been playing well, but I'm seeing 1G and a -2 in his last 10 games. Thought maybe he was from Seattle, but at a quick glance at his stats, I didn't see him playing there. I don't think of Seattle as a rough & tumble team or a bitter rival, but maybe they are.
Maybe another team wants to take a look at him as a throw-in in a trade (unlikely)? Maybe Dubas is in negotiations on a trade that involves a "prospect", but they haven't nailed down which one. Not wanting to risk injury or a bad showing in the NHL, they call up Imama just to have a body up & ready to go.

How did Pickering go from first defensive pairing to third pairing to WBS ? Did he tail off that much?

If Imama actually plays and Sullivan is consistent, he will get 5 shifts and 3 minutes of playing time.

I like it if Imama plays his gritty energy style

Pickering sent down to work with the WBS coach, I can get on board with.
Calling up Boko?!
If he displaces Acciari or Nieto or both, why not.
If he slots in anywhere else, don't bother. I'm not interested.
Tom Sestito vibes though.
