Why stop the season and draw momentum away teams hunting for Playoff seeding? Not watching.

My favorite NHL isn't allowed to play since he doesn't come from the 4 Nations playing. Absolutely not watching, and F the NHL.

I'm fairly eager to see hockey with the best from each country. I only wish that Russia and Czech were also playing. I would be incredibly excited if that were the case.

Without Russia and Czech in the mix it’s tainted. Who cares anyway.
…..but I will watch some if I’ve nothing better to do.

Absolutely zero interest for me. Another artificially created meaningless made up tournament.

Just in case you were curious who filled out the roster card for each of the 4(!) Nations represented, this may make sense.

ESPN group are broadcasting the games? Naw, I I'll pass.

Wear down Crosby and allow Ovi to jooce... er, rest?

I used to know a joke about a Russian sound technician.. and a Czech one too... Czech one too.

Sorry.

Last time around they had some theme teams. With young players only, with only Europeans (that weren't in the other teams already). They could've done that and had 8 teams. Bigger box office numbers kinds curious they didn't.

The NHL hates the winter Olympics. Unless they host it badly themselves apparently. I don't think they realise it's all people see of professional ice hockey in large swathes of the world.

If there's nothing else on TV then I guess I'll turn it on. What network is carrying it because I have no idea?

I’ll watch the US. Not too concerned it’s only Four Nations, this is supposed to just be the precursor to bringing back a full World Cup in non-Olympic years is what I thought.

I'll watch and root for Sid... but as much as I love the Olympics, this seems like a very poor-man's replacement. I will be interested to see if the crowds in attendance treat the games as a real tournament (like the Olympics) or just a spectacle (like the all-star game). The crowd involvement may be what makes the games more watchable... that said, I'm not sure the NHL is going to love the optics of having massive boos rain down from the crowd in Montreal when they play the USA's national anthem.

I'll watch here and there when I'm available. I doubt I'll go out of my way, except maybe for the finals.

Mostly just curious to watch the current Pens players and scout potential trade targets, lol.

This poll leaves out the most important reason. While it is no Olympics or World Cup, it seems infinitely better than the farce of an All-Star week the NHL has presented in recent years. I do think it would have been better to add a few more teams so that so many players were not ineligible to even participate. Add a Czech team, and a catch-all World team for non-represented players.

All star game. Oh brother. I remember back in the Lemieux days being super excited to watch every year...skills competitions, the game itself, selections based on merit instead of social media ****. Haven't watched a lick of the AS nonsense in at least a decade.

Mario getting his Name Chanted by the His Home Town Montreal Crowd and giving the Team Canada Starting Lineup was Awesome.

Sid with the brilliant pass on the PP to set up MacKinnon for that Goal was Special.A PP with Sid,McDavid and MacKinnon up front.Wow.For an Old Timer like me that would be like having Mario,Gretzky and Mike Bossy as that Group.
