The new guy makes his debut. I’d also say there’s a chance we see Jarry tonight.

So the new guy finally learned how not to defend and Sully can trust him?

Koly is clearly too young to fully grasp the Sullivan big-brained system. It will take him several more weeks to properly learn how to hemorrhage chances against.

Kolyachonok isn't going to receive much help being paired with Desharnais.Hope he sticks with being sound positionally.

I'm sure the new guy wouldn't have been able to play the traffic cone style Gryz just pulled

The sooner he gets to 80 or whatever he needs to lock in the PPG based on however many he can actually play the rest of the year (is it 15 more points?) the better.

I think Sid thought MacKinnon was his linemate with that pass.

15 points is the magic number.

Two shots so far no goal against yet.

Missed the first 2 minutes of the game. Saw 2 shifts of Kolyachonok so far. Little to go on, but like it so far. Saw him use the body, saw him switch well with Desharnais with very heads up play to make sure when he left the net front, Desharnais was covering. He also had a nice drive down the RW boards. If he would have got a pass a bit sooner, he might have had a better shot...but it still generated a shot on goal and a chance for Lizotte in front.

Going to be keeping my eye on 23 all night.

There’s some players like Tomasino that would be much better under a coach who wasn’t still stuck in 2017

If he stays out until the end of the season, he has >1 PPG this season.

We suck for a while, have a roster slot open.. not all bad if Sid recovers well

I long for the days when the only camera angle was center ice. So sick of all the other God awful camera angles.

He just jumped into the play twice on the same shift, enough that you would think he was on RW on Malkin's line. Then he had plenty of speed to get back and directly attacked the puck carrier at the Penguins blue line.

Liking EVERYTHING I see so far.

I think Koly could be the best d man on the team right now. That’s said only with a little hyperbole.

Some opportunistic hockey and almost a Geno goal there
