I think that at next year's deadline, the Pens will trade away:
Smith
Eller
Puljujärvi
MP

With MP being next seasons Jake.

I could also see them trading away Rust and Rakell.

I think the writing is on the wall at this point. We are going to be finishing at or near the bottom for a few years. Hopefully Dubas embraces this and picks up some late summer UFA's for 1-year prove-it type deals and then trades them at the deadline for 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Not sure I agree with the bottom finish just yet. If they even just fix the powerplay issue, they can still be a playoff team. New coaching could fix that and the defensive issues. I think we can hold off "bottom-feeder" for another season or two. I do not see any of the teams around us, save for Detroit, getting that much better than the Pens next season.
