I spoke too soon. Didn't realize you were going to vote against Heady.

I've never had the good fortune to try Heady Topper.

Finally saw Chillwave today. Picked some up. I'll crack one open for the pens game tonight.

Yep, I got tickets yesterday, actually. I stopped for lunch after declaring my day a half a day. I hadn't heard anything but figured I'd ask. The manager told me that tickets were on sale and 25 were gone very quickly. So, I'd get tickets quick, anyone wanting to go.

Relatedly/Unrelatedly, my lunch stop turned into something quite a bit longer when I ended up having a conversation with a guy about Nick Cave. He insisted on buying me BCB barleywines, so I was limiting them to 4 oz pours. I'm not a barleywine fan, but that stuff was truly excellent.

Yeah, they don't have it on their website, so I finally dug back through their Facebook posts and found something from a week or so ago saying that they were selling tickets. Anyhow, I just got my ticket too.

And the day begins.

Session #3 is pretty good. Might be my favorite cider (not that there's much competition).

I haven't had a cider in a long time, I'm not a big sweet fan though. My only exposure to ciders are Angry Orchard and Redd's so there's that.

What are yinz go to beers? I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, due to the fact my dad has it stocked in his beer fridge lol

Wigle Whiskey was decent. Not exactly my go to though.

Maggie's Farm makes a great White Haitian. Feels like I'm drinking a stout, but I'm drinking rum...

I realize that isn't beer... Roundabout is next. Might substitute Draai Laag for East End since it closes early.

I've got a cider in my kegerator right now that is awesome. I am with you, they are usually too sweet, so I made my own. It's nice and crisp, and since I got to sweeten it, I made it to my liking... nice and dry.

I'd make that substitution regardless... But then again DL is my favorite PGH brewery.

Speaking of ciders, that is one of the great things with Arsenal... They usually have about 50/50 dry and semi-sweet ciders, so you can have your pick. They also occasionally do a hopped cider which is pretty interesting.

That's awesome, c2i. I'm sure it's always cool to brew your own beer and really have the personalized taste.

I'm interested in trying a hopped cider, I think it would be good.

Just picked up a Six Point Bengali Tiger IPA. Very, very light and no alcohol present at all. I really like this beer but I still need to try the resin

Might be a little behind, I hope ruination isn't off the shelves for too long. I can't find the enjoy by 4:20 anywhere around me so I hope I'll have another stone variety to enjoy. Getting tired of the regular ipa.

Thank god for ballast point, anyone had gruinion pale ale yet?

Had an Otto's Bourbon Aged Jolly Roger Stout. Was so good. Otto's is definitely worth the stop if you're passing through Centre County. Their Double D IPA in the past 4 years have gone from far too malty and not enough hops, to too malty with the proper amount of hops to perfect. The one I had tonight would stack up with almost any IPA.

It's good, but I'm more partial to SN Pale Ale and even Headwaters.

Had a Spencer Trappist Ale tonight in Boston. Interesting brewery, pretty good beer, though more hop fruity than my yoozh.

I really like flower power. This is why voting should be anonymous, too much voter intimidation from the Beer Black Panthers of this board :pop:
