Budweiser Lyft. Too drunk to drive but sober enough not to vomit off the back of a horse drawn carriage. Alright.

A good hot ham and cheese is very good. I'm guessing the BK version isn't going to be good.

You'd be right. Had one Saturday afternoon.
Awful dude. Just awful.

There is a radio commercial where a guy says something about getting a large tax refund.

His wife/gf says, "let me see!" - Why do you need to see the refund check?

She then says, "We can get a parrot." - Why would a parrot be what the writer/agency picked?

He then says, "What do they eat? Swamp rats?" - um... what?

...

The commercial make no sense what so ever and give me no desire to use the company to do my taxes.

Totally depressing, and not really sure what the hell they're selling.

In other news, the girl's eyes at the end are identical to my daughter's so that did freak me out a bit.

I was discussing this ad with some other folks this morning and that thought came up. Accidents are accidents, seems really odd to rub that in peoples faces. You can do things to prevent them from happening, but you can't prevent everything. Buying insurance won't help with that, and dead kids don't have any earning potential so they're not worth a whole lot if they are killed so there is no silver lining there either. Just a weird spot.

When someone asks why I don't want to have kids I'll just tell them to remember that ad.

In other ad news Tmobile's CEO attack Sprint's on Twitter over their ads:

Enough with the Bryant Gumble and Katie Couric BMW ads. Gumble was best as host of the NBC NFL Today or whatever is was called long ago.

2 current trends that annoy me:

1. Having kids in place of adults.

2. Tying long dead people from history to shill current products. If you've listened to a Pens' game on the X/iheartradio, you know what I'm talking about... Michelangelo is "unfulfilled" because he never had Geico and Genghis Khan was a Penguins fan... GTFO.
