This is also coupled with doing away with tyrese from the comics. I guess Michonne will help tilt the scales in the other direction, though.
The Chinese guy has done a lot of great things. Michonne is a badass. Her character is going to be developing.

Yeah I agree Glenn is probably the most competent character on the show.

He's more of a ninja in the comics. Real master of stealth.

By master of stealth, I think he means he's not there at all.

Either that, or he is so stealthy, you missed him even after reading 96 comics.

Our local library has the first Compendium, which is issues 1-48. They are ordering the second Compendium, which will be 49-96. You may want to see if your library has them. That's the best way to get caught up, and issue 103 went on sale last week.

That was one of the things from the comic books i wasnt sure was going to make it into the tv series. Shows how sadistic the guy is.

That was an awesome episode.

Ep. 3 spoilers (just in case)
Spoiler:
I love that this is how they brought Merle back, great role for him. The showdown between the 'gov' and Rick is going to be great.

Anyone want to explain the last 1 minute of tonight's episode to me? I'd ask via spoiler but android has other ideas.

I've read the first compendium which covers the prison/Woodbury/Governor storyline, so with that as a frame of reference, here goes...
Spoiler:
As with a lot of angles in the series so far, they're not *exactly* following the comics in regards to the discovery of Woodbury and Governor.

Without giving too much away, the preserved heads are a bit of a nod towards the sadistic nature of the Governor. We already saw this to a point with the ambush of the military convey, but even if they use the general arc of the comics as a guide, it should potentially get much worse.

There's also another more personal angle regarding the Governor that I *think* they're going to hit on, and this would tie in with the "research" he has some people doing on decapitated heads from Michonne's old boyfriends. In that case, the preserved heads may be more than just trophies.
