Since Dubas has developed a reputation as a data driven GM, maybe he can explain how the putrid numbers are acceptable for keeping Sullivan as coach. Does he do a Q and A section on his podcast? C'mon media: ask the question...

That's been one of my biggest questions. If he is such a supposed data guy, the data can't indicate Sullivan is a positive influence so....

Pretty obvious that if we still have Sully next season KD is dumber than pretty much every poster here. Maybe we should also be looking for a new POHO and GM.

By the way, I assume all of you heard that Sully and his staff all got canned by Dubas this morning. Presser this afternoon to announce the interim staff.

April Fool's prank ? Good One. I haven't seen or heard anything saying that however, if true, that should have happened before he signed an extensionBadger Bob wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 8:03 am By the way, I assume all of you heard that Sully and his staff all got canned by Dubas this morning. Quillan signing with Toronto was announced about 10-15 minutes ago. Seravalli says some scouts think Quillan has more NHL upside than Collin Graf, who it sounds like is also going to sign in the East somewhere.

Re: Random Penguins Fodder
Nylander scored 2 goals tonight, giving him 10 goals in 17 games with Columbus. His previous career high (goals and points) was 10 goals, 26 points in 65 games with Chicago in 19-20.
I'm not going to blame Sullivan here, but, this is why you can't always just say....well, he sucked here and nobody else picked him up. The guy stinks. Nylander didn't live up to his draft status in Buffalo...he was on his way to starting to produce in Chicago when he got hurt and was not given his lineup spot back...he got traded to Pittsburgh, played 16 games over 2 seasons, and had 1 point, a goal.
He'll need to keep it up next year, but he's probably earned his contract with Columbus. He seems to be a fit for their system and/or the coach is using him to the best of his abilities. Sometimes, all a player needs is a system change and a chance.
