That’s amazing Geno is #2 in Russian goal scorers. I would have thought Kovalchoo would be way ahead of him.

Pens crew just joked about how Z hasn’t scored in awhile right before this.

I would have thought Mogilny,Bure or Federov.Pretty impressive that Geno is ahead of them.

Can the TV crew mention it’d be great if I won the lottery tonight?

Well that was fun to watch for a change. They obviously kept it simple and got to their game.

Hard to believe Crosby 0 points with 6 goals.

I predict the Isles get the next two goals and then the Pens score two. Final score 8-2.

Two main things that period. People in front of the net and movement. No stagnation. Isles were pretty much watching in awe. That’s what we look like when we do not have movement. That period reminded me of game 4 of SCF vs the North Stars in 91.

6 Goals in a Period on Long Island.Has to be a franchise record at the Isles.
The outstanding forecheck and terrific zone pressure was a great thing to see.
Kris Letang with one of the best periods of his career. He has been the best player on the ice IMHO.
Malkin with strong skating, good effort and looked like a different player.
No doubt the best period of Hockey from a Pens team in a long time.Steamrolled the uninterested non competitive opponent.

Oh for sure, but I'm loving watching him climb to 600 1000 1600 so I always want to see him rack them up.IntangibleBeer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2023 9:21 pmI think that’s a very positive thing. He’s been carrying this for a while. Time for others to step up.

Even when they put 6 on the board, they can't put out a power play that isn't total ass
