E-Ramone wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 8:42 pm I’m not a power play expert, but it seems to me that a big problem is the seemingly unnecessary high risk passes across the top of the set up that even when they don’t result in a turnover and odd man rush, serve no useful purpose toward scoring a goal. I wish they’d figure this out and make more meaningful passes that set up scoring chances.
It’s only been 8 years, needs more time.
I’m glad that at least it’s not just me, ha ha

YES. They offer NO insight whatsoever. They are a waste of time. Guentzel is a good example of the typical formulated, cliché-driven drivel that we hear from players.

It’s time to get to our game! The Blues got to be tired with 3 games in 4 nights. Play in our end and wear them down with the Crosby grind…..have numbers back etc. no odd man rushes against!

Refs really need to start calling dives when a player goes full helicopter on an accidental trip.

Z has not been good tonight. If he was too sick to practice yesterday, maybe he shouldn't have dressed.

Someone will give us a 4th rounder at the deadline for him and if he wants one final cup run he will waive any clause for those 3-4 months away from his family.

Could still be hurting from the slash or to the back when he blocked that shot near the end of the first. And the alternative is Hinistroza and he can’t even beat out Harkins who has been far worse than Z tonight.

I've been saying that too someone will give us a pick for him. He has use on a deep team, the Pens aren't deep

I joked that Hextall was going to resign Dumoulin at 3 years for $10 million. If that had happened and it meant that we couldn’t sign Graves I would take that. Adam Graves might be better at defense than him right now.

EROD never cost us a game by allowing goals against. He was at worst a push but even that would be harsh.
