Well I can think of one very important game a couple years ago…..but yeaDelPen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:20 pmEROD never cost us a game by allowing goals against. He was at worst a push but even that would be harsh.Dynasty1970 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:19 pmYou hate Graves about as much as I hated EROD. That is saying a lot.

Did he shoot a puck into our own net? If not then anything he did or didn’t do isn’t as bad as Graves.Dynasty1970 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:22 pmWell I can think of one very important game a couple years ago…..but yeaDelPen wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:20 pmEROD never cost us a game by allowing goals against. We can’t keep having Karlsson and Graves play together. One guy can’t play any **** defense and the other guy is Karlsson.

BTW….I never said I disagreed with you. graves has been a bust by any metric. I don’t need Murphydump on this one either.

Eller interfered with an empty net should be a goal.

Wasn’t pretty but a win is a win.
If they could beat the Isles again tomorrow that would go a long way in creating some belief in the group.

Say what you want about some of the problems the team has but the goaltending has been pretty stellar. Good win tonight, tomorrow will be a lot tougher.

If we take the Jarry losses before he was hurt out of the conversation then yes.Empty Sweater wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:38 pm Say what you want about some of the problems the team has but the goaltending has been pretty stellar. Good win tonight, tomorrow will be a lot tougher.

We're currently seeing Jarry when he's switched on. He'd been turned off with the cable unplugged before though.Empty Sweater wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:38 pm Say what you want about some of the problems the team has but the goaltending has been pretty stellar. Good win, but we really need to pick up the pace in the Metro.

Take the win, but I don't like how Karlsson has looked the last few weeks. Yes, the team is winning, but Sully has neutered him. He looks clueless out there. Forcing plays that aren't there etc.
There are times that I feel like Sullivan only wants Sid/Geno and Letang to be the stars of the team and be the only ones that are allowed to score and shine.
This team is going to need Karlsson to be Karlsson sooner than later. Sullivan clearly has no idea how to coach him.

He’s coaching him to be ZAR or Teddy Blueger. Kris Letang is the only defensemen who can play offense.KG wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 9:41 am Take the win, but I don't like how Karlsson has looked the last few weeks. Can we just appreciate that Letang has been kind of quite good of late?Daniel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 10:14 amHe’s coaching him to be ZAR or Teddy Blueger.
