He’s being used wrong. That’s the only and also correct assessment of why he has looked so bad on this team.

Both Defensemen can't be out of position late here again. No chasing the puck all over the zone.

It's impossible to count the number of Pens that had their stick on the puck in the defensive zone, and still failed to do a simple clear.

ESPN fools don't even mention HOF Crosby skating puck down negating an icing and killing another 20 sec

It was a win, on the road, against one of the top teams in the league, who happened to be 15-2-3 at home coming in. I'll take the W, despite the shortcomings. He stood tall in the end, despite the letdown mid-game.

The guy is just super human. Such a special talent and a joy to watch. Try as I might, I can't imagine a lot of other players on this team making that effort to negate that icing.

How does Puustinen go from PP1 to no PP time? What exactly did he do to warrant that? I just don't get Sully.

He got 7:37 so he only played a little over 1 minute in the third

Yeah I think it's hilarious that I keep hearing NHL players, pundits, broascasters etc talking about the Sullivan mistakes and stupidity. Hearing messier just talk about how when the power play sucks and players don't work, you change the power play and replace those players even if they are high dollar. It's amazing everyone in the world outside the organization and behind the bench sees the problems.

Somehow they got the Win after blowing the 5-2 Iead.Actually played a decent 3rd after it got tied up.Defended fairly well late.
Sid had another memorable game.Did everything better than anyone else on the Ice for 3 Periods and got the GW PPG.
Another inexcusable no show from Malkin and Smith nearly as bad.Rust gets a pass for still not being sharp after the long time out but 2nd Line was awful.
Ned had a tough night but made 3 big saves late to secure the win.
DOC early and Acciari late were big.Carter was solid and Letang had a strong game except for his terrible effort on the SHG allowed.

A win in Boston is no easy chore,so many good and bad things were on display.Sid gave another testimony of his heart and talent and had Jarry been in there I have this feeling they don't get this Win.As bad as Ned was he held up with the game on the line.

But he will move Graves down and leave Puusty on the bench all night.

Typical Sullivan. He hates that he was basically forced to play him for a while with injuries and will now do what he does... reduce and diminish his time until he produces 0 and Sullivan can easily justify burying him again. I'm sure the 7 points in 10 games made it a little harder than Sullivan wanted but he'll figure it out in the end.
