You score on a couple of these PP's and you won't be eating elbows as frequently. FL has no reason to play it smart when the Pens' PP can't score or even generate some momentum. Creates more momentum for FL

Poulin with another goal tonight, plus a Gordie Howe hat trick after sticking up for a blind side hit on Zohorna by former Penguin Garret Wilson.
Poulin now has 5 goals in his last 9 games.

Would sure love to see both of these guys in a Penguins uniform. At some point Poulin needs to start asking WTF he has to do to get a recall over Colin White or into the lineup over Jansen Harkins.
We just don't see it but while Poulin et al.may get pucks on net and I dunno even score once in awhile, they just don't do things the Sully way - the only way that matters for this organization.

I’m sure FSG has some formula on how much money would be lost by firing the coaches now vs missing the playoffs and reduced ticket sales and have a threshold on season ticket renewals and unsold tickets that would forger the decision.

It will be a money decision and not hockey that gets Sullivan fired. And FSG needs to find a new manager for Liverpool now so that will be their top priority.

The the PP was even just below average we’d be 2nd in the Metro easily.

Ned with 3 huge saves to keep them in it.
Don't know what POJ was doing on that 2 on 1.

This is one very lopsided 2-1 game. FL has hit a couple of crossbars, flubbed a few grade A chances, and Ned has made some stellar saves. 5 straight Pens' PPs including a 5-on-3 totally wasted.

Its cost them 6-8 points conservatively, and likely more than that.
Will be the reason they miss the playoffs.

DOC sets Malkin up with a beauty of a pass that gets whiffed on.
Pettersson decides he is better off trying to beat 3 guys instead of shooting.

What comes first, a Penguins PP goal or a Panthers SHG?

I thought so too, especially with it being a one goal game late.

Why does this team pass up shots in the slot for low percentage shots from the side of the net?

Asking for a frustrated friend.

So they FINALLY put Puustinen, and it seems he's not allowed anywhere near his prime scoring spot, the LW circle. :face:

Say it again. Malkin stinks. He does hit even try but keeps getting ice time
