Sullivan would rather have the GCR line and the other 9 forwards be Colin Whites out there.

Just a matter of time that Puustinen’s spirit will be broken.

Can anyone recall a time / moment / play that you found yourself yelling at Puustinen through the TV? I've watched every game. I can't.

Finally an OT win,Pettersson with a great 3rd Period assist and what a GWG.Never would have figured he would have been the guy.
Crosby continues to allow all us fellow Penguin Fans to witness his greatness. The pass to Jake for the tying Goal was simply breathtaking.
Jarry had an outstanding game and gave them the chance to get it done.
Again no goals from the PP but looked much better with Puustinen and what it brought to the unit.Stick with him out there.
Eller getting a Goal in his 1000th Game was special,as usual he was solid all night.

Going into the break they had to get 2 Points tonight.Dubas has stated that he would assess this team at this point in the season. With the cap issues he doesn't have much wiggle room but bringing up Poulin from WBS would be a wise decision. They are still using the fact that they have the games in hand as the opportunity to stay in playoff contention so its unlikely to see any big moves regarding trades IMHO.

No.He makes a difference in a positive way the majority of the time he is on the ice.He gives the PP a much better look.

It’s great that Pettersson scored the winner but there isn’t a good reason he should be on the ice in a 3-on-3 OT along with half the other players Sullivan puts out.

Penguins go into the break 6 points behind Detroit with 3 games in hand, and 7 points behind Toronto with 1 game in hand.

Actually, we have a better shot at third in the Metro with the Flyers nose-diving. We’re 5 points behind the Flyers with only the Isles to leapfrog

The Metro loves their golf, apparently.

I was thinking something similar but with Sully putting Eller out to start the OT. Was that because it was some reward for his 1,000th game? I’d start the guy leading the league in FO%, but instead, the Pens lose the draw and immediately get stuck in their own end for the first two minutes of OT. That could’ve/should’ve cost them the second point. To me, that was a horrible decision.

Respectfully disagree. Only one I wpuld want out there more than Eller is Sid. Definitely not Geno. It was a great decision and totally out of character for Sully. He rewarded a guy that has been playing his butt off. That sends a message to the other players. That is what we have wanted as a fan base. Play the guys that care. Puustinen brings energy. Play him more and keep putting him out there in Ovi/Stamkos office on the left circle for one timers on the power play.

The entire team for Reinhart apparently would be more fair.
