Danny Shirey
@DannyShireyPGH
I've said this previously but it would be ***insane*** for the Penguins to pivot and sell at the trade deadline before seeing what things look like under a different coaching staff.

Is Mike Sullivan really going to coach PIT through a lengthy rebuild and then back to glory?

Good to see someone kind of from the media start talking about Sullivan...

This does seem like a very obvious "fire the coach and see if you can get a boost down the stretch to make the playoffs" situation.

Yes, it is pretty obvious! So either FLPensFan is spot on, or GMKD is incompetent.

Pens best chances due to them forechecking and crashing the net.Have to continue to do this.
Not one high danger opportunity created from this black hole of a PP.
Jarry with another good game.As KG correctly stated, both Ned and him have overcome the defensive deficiencies all season.
Puljujarvi had a couple of hits and 1 decent chance.Still getting his legs but he has skills this team sorely needs.
Better overall play in the 2nd but will need a stronger effort going at their D and continue to force turnovers, they are not good at handling the puck.

We lulled Winnipeg to sleep and stayed in the game. No idea how this is a one goal game.

Karlsson is so fun to watch. Just let the guy play and do his thing. The good far outweighs the bad.

They should give Jarry the helmet tonight even if they lose.

What a horrible pass by Carter. Just give it to Karlsson and fall in line

Jarry with 4 outstanding saves.
Jeff Carter with 2 disastrous shifts that led to huge chances for Winnipeg.

Jarry has been exceptional this period. Could easily be 4-1.

Ho hum….a Powerless Play. May as well pull the goalie at the same time, although we can’t seem to score with a two man advantage either.

Jets have lost 5 in a row and I imagine they'll blow this one too and the hockey media might wake up and stop calling them a major Cup contender

Wasn’t it changed to be a penalty if you move a broken stick on the ice? The fact the Jets player moved it into a passing lane makes it worse.

KD really needs to look into making a hockey trade and swapping out Rakell and Smith for different forwards.

Or just fire the coach. Whichever is easier these days!
