I hope Sullivan can find who is responsible for this team being a dumpster fire.

Getting toyed with and dominated on national tv in what should be viewed as a must win game.

Maybe FSG will notice and let KD do his thing.

At least the Altcast was entertaining.

It's hilarious to hear these commentators talk about the Pens making the playoffs.

It's like they're not watching the game they are calling.

Jake better not be hurt. Hopefully it was just a precaution.

This team plays like they have accepted the fact that they cannot score in this system.

Meanwhile, former Pens around the league are outscoring these players at a fraction of the cost.

This offensive system isn't working so changing out the players isn't going to make a difference.

Jake looked like he was in a lot of pain there before leaving. That'll be about fitting for this team... prevaricate and ponder instead of making smart decisions and our best asset will end up injured, wrecking any chance of a top level return.

Watching that replay of Jake's goal, it sure looks like Rust was holding Bob's stick. For a few seconds. Hahaha

Yeah he did, lol. Announcers were fixated on Bob's skate coming into contact with Rust's skate outside the crease, but pretty sure Bob was reacting to Rust having a hold of his stick for a bit prior to the shot.

3rd Period with very little intensity and barely any Offensive Pressure.Sure seemed they checked out with no concern for how it looked.
A correctly overturned Goal is all it took it torpedo this game.Mentally weak.
Guess the 0-4 PP tonight, how the "2 Unit Adjustment" continues to fail isn't worthy of the accountability for this entire Coaching Staff.
5 Goals against but no real blame for Jarry. He was good against a strong Florida Team who is just going to be a tough Playoff Contender.
Smith was invisible,Rakell almost as bad,no 3rd Line forecheck,Malkin with zero impact again.

Hope Jake Guentzel isn't hurt too bad.Congrats to Ludvig for his first career goal.Rough night except for that.
Hate to say it,but agree with many fellow Pens Fans here, they have to move Jake. Also sadly should consider moving Eller and Ned to try to see if any return is available.Smith getting moved is a necessity IMHO.

Dubas went into this season figuring getting Karlsson,Ned,Smith,Graves,Eller,Acciari and Nieto would be what it took to be a Playoff bound Team. The Plan didn't work.He was hampered by a disaster of a Jeff Carter contract and basically no impact from previously drafted players.

Crosby has given them another outstanding season, been healthy and a force every night..Jarry has been excellent and Letang for the most part has had a solid year.Malkin simply has not been good despite being healthy and looks like he is going through thd motions. No secondary scoring and the bottom 6 chemistry has never materialized.

The failure of Sullivan and the Coaching Staff to get a competent PP after 50 Games is the #1 reason this team will miss the playoffs. And in so many of these losses the team has started poorly, not played consistently and had no answer when adversity was a part of these games.Clearly past the point of getting corrected with the way Sully is digging in on defending his system.

This loss to Florida should be the last evidence the 2023-24 Season is over.Crosby deserved better.

Madden asked Sully about making changes. Sully "We make lots of changes. You guys just don't see them." I'm no hockey savant, but WTH is he talking about? Said something about breakouts and neutral zone play.

Oh and Jake "Being evaluated for an upper body injury". So what's the lineup tomorrow? Can Jarry play D or wing?

Careful Sully, Tomlin has the term “Obviously” trademarked.

Locker room cuisine can be both a change and something we won't see.

If Jake doesn’t play tonight and no one is placed on LTIR, does that mean we’ll see just ten forwards and 7 defensemen?

I think we'd be forced to play a man short for one game, yes.

I hate to sound like a local homer, but man, how I wish the Penguins were built more like the Panthers. To me, Florida has that perfect mix of deadly skill in guys like Barkov, Reinhart, Verhaeghe, Lundell, Montour, that added blend of skilled toughness with guys like Tkachuk, Bennett, Ekblad, Mikkola, and some meaningful bottom 6ers in guys like Luostarinen, ERod, Lomberg.

You don't need to go full heavy team, and you don't need to go full speed/perimeter like the Penguins have. Having a good balance of both let's you play a few different styles, versus our current one dimensional team.
