Competent coaching is my guess.

There was a suit introduced as being from FSG in seat one on the ice. Dude looked like he had drawn the short straw to represent the Corporation; had ZERO f ing emotional response to being there. The suit could have been hanging on a mannequin. Ownership and GMKB's boss(?) there in the arena to witness Penguins fans love of greatness and then to see **** on ice hockey.

Sullivan's personal belongings should have been waiting him after the game at the entrance to the locker room, in plain sight for all of the players to see.

What did Puljujarvi did wrong,to get no ice time after mid of 2nd period?? Phillips signing is just wtf,looks like a child out there..

Eller's mistake on PP was also brutal.. lazy pass and there they go

Probably exactly what I said before the game...not sure if he's ever played LW. Not that much if any time there in his career, so Sullivan puts him there...he probably missed an assignment or something so he's now banished, forget the fact that he's playing out of position in order to get our new waiver wire pickup in the lineup.

I didnt notice anything.. there was just one sequence when all 3rd line was under pressure in defensive zone for 30seconds.. but then Phillips and Eller should get yanked too lol..

90 year old Scott Bowman could do better.
Karlsson has added nothing to date.
Sid has the wings... that can score.

Got home late last evening and watched that whole stinking game on replay, hoping the Jagr ceremony would light a fire under them. Instead I got...that.

Seeing all those highlights from the late 90s, when Jagr almost single-handedly dragged some of those teams into the playoffs, somehow makes this feel worse than even the X Generation days. Sure, those teams were bad, but at least some of those schmucks were memorable for one reason or another. Sure, Konstantin Koltsov couldn't actually do anything, but he sure was fast! This team seems like it literally only has Sidney Crosby doing anything at all.

Watching this, it's like...how does Sullivan still have a job?

So DK said Hellberg was an emergency recall before the game and that was revoked but he was in the press box. Then after the game apparently Jarry was unavailable due to getting treatment. Putting two and two together Jarry has his usual post- January injury lol
